Bokashi Ball Project implemented in Nongsarai Community by APYE Fellows

Follow APYE Fellows Jun Kanoktanyarat from Thailand, and Nayab Mir from Pakistan implementing their Bokashi Ball project, an organic bio water purifier to help eliminate contamination in water sources in Nong Sarai Community, Thailand.
APYE beloved Alumni Luyang Zhou won Miss CFL competition (College of Foreign Languages) held at Nankai University - one of the top 6 universities in China, and is the university of the first premier of China, Mr. Enlai ZHOU.

After APYE Thailand ended, Kenneth received an invitation from National University in The Philippines to participate as a youth speaker at SDGs Festival 2018. Find out more about his project Satho - a low-cost hybrid cultural mini-bus with a tourism strategic transportation plan, and his passion for Sustainable Development Goals through action & volunteerism!
APYE is hosted every 6 month, with the average participants of 180 delegates from 20+ countries, producing 20+ social innovative projects each program to 5+ communities across Thailand. To ensure that the solutions developed through APYE program can help address issues in local communities, a specialized follow up program is needed to realize and sustain ideas. Hence APYE Fellowship is launched, starting with Coordinator Recruitment.

APYE in Thailand team was invited to the 3-day Planning Meeting for the Regional Youth Project on Leadership, Innovation and Entrepreneurship hosted by UNDP Asia-Pacific, as representatives on behalf of young social entrepreneur network, to participate in discussion on understanding the ecosystem and skills required for young entrepreneurs and social innovators in Asia and the Pacific, as well as to share best practices on youth-led entrepreneurship and innovation initiatives.

Dr. Faiz Shah, Director, Yunus Center at AIT, participated in a panel discussion on the role of social innovation accelerating the SDGs. Furthermore, four members of the YCA team participated as mentors and judges of the delegates' social ventures initiatives.
